Christian Kowalski

The aim of research is to collect and gather evidence to support a claim. The collecting and compiling of scholarly articles, interviews, surveys and other methods of research has helped me become more aware of issues beyond my understanding. Research has allowed me to become a more informed citizen and rhetor.

 

Research has also made me a better advocate for the issues I’m passionate about. The various methods utilized have strengthened my understanding of the content and provided a foundation from which to take action. By conducting research it has made me recognize the significance I have as a rhetor and the privileges that come with it. Many of the issues I explore through my research are of topics I have no first-hand experience of. These are challenges I will continue to contend with as I take on my more assignments and projects. It is important then that I write to inform and provide opportunities for others.
